Paco Iribarne, teacher and music storyteller from Tenerife

Paco is a math teacher living in Tenerife, Spain. But beyond numbers, he’s always been passionate about music. He has an incredible gift for storytelling — he can walk you through the lives of legendary artists and bands with such detail and emotion that it's impossible not to listen.

The challenge? He had no equipment, no editing skills, and no idea how to start a podcast.

With just a bit of guidance, Paco got himself a small microphone designed for mobile phones — nothing fancy — and started recording every episode straight from his phone. He would send me the raw audio via WhatsApp, and I took care of the rest: professional editing, sound compression, EQ, music integration, and full post-production.

The result? A podcast with top-quality sound and a unique identity. To round out the experience, I also created a custom website where he publishes each new episode weekly.

Animal de Compañia, my own podcast: a return to my roots and a bridge to the world.

After years of working in FM radio stations in both Argentina and the Canary Islands—and following a decade-long break from broadcasting—I decided to return to the airwaves… this time, through my own podcast.
What began as a personal project quickly grew into an international community, with listeners tuning in from over 26 countries.
This podcast has brought me countless personal rewards and introduced me to new voices, stories, and friendships around the globe.
